Jaywing’s Accelerator Lab Shortlisted for Tech Team of the Year Award

We are delighted to share that Jaywing’s Accelerator Lab has been shortlisted for Tech Team of the Year by Leeds Digital Festival. This is a testament to the remarkable and ongoing work of our team, who innovate with purpose to solve marketing challenges with smart, practical tech.   

A pivotal reason for our shortlisting is the incredible leadership team at the heart of our Accelerator Lab. Combining their strengths, the team craft AI tools designed to solve challenging marketing problems. Each of the tools created by the Lab play a significant role in our data-driven success.  

That success is defined by delivering tangible, measurable results for our clients. Using ‘Marketing Mix Modelling’, the team empowered Studio Retail to unlock £26 million in additional revenue without increasing spend. For ASDA, they applied ‘Jaywing Attribution’ models to identify more effective spending, delivering a 9:1 ROI boost. 

This focus on commercial impact runs through everything we do. Our AI tool ‘Comprehend’ tripled organic clicks for Mobiles.co.uk, while ‘Archetype’ gave Virgin Money a 16% uplift in its ability to predict customer churn. It is this ability to unify complex data and provide strategic clarity that allows the team to drive such consistent, award-worthy success.  

The most recent tool launched in May 2025 is our ‘Marketing Impact Score’ (MIS). It is a truly original data-driven way for brands to easily assess their online performance against their competitors, through combining SEMrush data with multiple factors to create a live scoreboard. Malcom Clifford, the Accelerator Lab’s Technology and Strategy Leader, captures the benefits of MIS perfectly:

In addition to these outstanding tools, the team dedicates time to thought leadership through hosting ‘Inside the Lab’. This video series shows behind the scenes of the development of the technologies and innovations fuelling our AI powered marketing solutions. 

The Accelerator Lab also released their AI Predictions Report 2025 in December 2024 and a subsequent interactive webinar, delivering expert insights and information regarding AI’s future in marketing with Jaywing’s clients given priority access to the projections. They continued to publish the latest developments in Generative AI and chatbots throughout the year, with an exciting chapter in our More than Marketing Guide and hosting an in-person event with Google.
