Key responsibilities
Supporting SEO Analysts and Managers in carrying out architecture, content, and technical site audits
- Keyword research & targeting
- Carrying out work in line with client SEO strategies. This will include on-site and earned media actions, with the aid of more senior team members
- Review and adjusting client tactics based on performance
- Clear reporting of results and measurable KPI’s in place for every client
- Continually developing your understanding of the search landscape and adjusting activity to improve client performance
- Work with a team, both in person and remotely, to achieve results
Skills required:
- Existing SEO knowledge and experience, 1 year+ and can include experience gained via your education
- Initiative, motivation and drive to succeed
- Ability to work under own direction and as part of a team
- Time management skills and close adherence to deadlines
- Effective communication, presentation and writing ability
- Data literacy & the ability to analyse data to inform strategies and interpret results, including AI-assisted analysis
- Some knowledge of beginner level SEO, areas including:
- On-page technical SEO
- Keyword research skills
- Content optimisation skills
- Awareness and some ability with Google Analytics and Search Console
- Understanding of emerging AI platforms such as LLMs
Skills desired:
- Relevant experience in the industry in either a marketing agency, or in-house, or via your education
- Awareness and experience of core insight tools such as ScreamingFrog, SEM Rush, Ahrefs etc.
- Basic / some knowledge of Python, HTML, CSS considered valuable
- Social media / influencer / content marketing awareness
- Experience and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
