Do you open TikTok as soon as you wake up? Would you be mortified to show your family your screen time? Are you the person sharing the most content in your group chats? If so, we want to hear from you! 

Due to client growth and changing internal structures, Jaywing is now seeking its first Head of Social Content to truly own and drive forward our organic social product. Working with national UK brands including Yorkshire Tea and Taylors group, as well as across the agency's wider integrated portfolio, you'll be leading a growing team at an exciting period of change. 

We're looking for passionate social leaders with proven experience growing and evolving brand approaches to social, whether that be in an agency or in-house role. As a Head Of, you'll be the agency's go-to social content specialist, responsible for continually evolving our offering in a fast paced landscape, and making sure our clients get the best of what social has to offer. 

Requirements 

  • 6+ years of experience in a social media marketing or social content role 
  • Proficient with all social platforms, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn 
  • Experience line managing and ideally leading small teams of social creatives 
  • Passion for social and a genuine curiosity for what's next 
  • Experience of paid social management platforms and general best practices (Jaywing's Media department handles paid social buying, but an awareness is critical) 
  • Proven experience in growing and modernising branded social channels, whether via an agency or in an in-house role 
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of turning audience data and market insight into clear and actionable social strategies the drive value for clients 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Continue to lead and develop our social product in the fast-paced world of digital, being a passionate advocate for your channel within the agency and beyond 
  • Evolve and future proof our social proposition, coming with excitement and ideas about constantly changing areas like social commerce, the creator economy, social search and more 
  • Work into Jaywing's wider integrated content marketing offering, delivering social ideas and solutions that help our clients create consistent customer experiences digitally 
  • Be at the cutting edge of platform updates, trends and products, and bring this knowledge into the agency and our clients as an active thought leader 
  • Lead and grow a team in the agency 
  • Take an active role in agency marketing and new business opportunities, creating and delivering pitch materials, as well as representing Jaywing through thought leadership and at marketing events 
  • Work directly with our paid social team to deliver a "One Social" approach for clients, feeding into paid creative & strategies, as well as collaborating on client opportunities within the agency 
  • Collaborate closely with our Digital Creative Director to bring social creative to life, from brainstorming and idea refinement through to post production (handled via Jaywing's Creative Studio) 

 

Nice to haves 

  • Socially-minded outside of work, i.e. with your own communities, pages or content creation examples 
  • Marketing / social media agency experience 
  • Experience working directly with platforms and tools
