Digital PR Manager

The Role

Working into the Digital PR Lead, you’ll help manage clients and deliver winning authority building strategies across a number of sectors including tech, interior design, travel and more. As a Digital PR Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients you manage, overseeing account teams to ensure work is of a high standard and monthly KPIs are met consistently.

You will lead and oversee all campaign development and execution, working closely with your colleagues in the Organic Media team to ensure PR activity drives visibility and site growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supporting your DPR Lead by independently managing all activity for a range of clients across a wide and ever-changing range of sectors.
  • Taking charge of day-to-day client communications alongside your execs, knowing when to escalate if needed
  • Reviewing and approving all work from Account Executives on your accounts before it goes to your DPR Lead
  • Developing fun and engaging creative campaign and content ideas that are on brief for your client and pulling these into detailed proposals, with details on costs where needed
  • Understanding the wider SEO strategy across your accounts, and delivering authority building tactics that achieve consistent, relevant coverage, whilst utilising existing editorial content plans to shape activity and drive results
  • Supporting on media promotion where needed by providing suggestions on relevant contacts/publications and alternative angles for content, working with our Media Relations Lead
  • Contributing to wider Organic Media strategies at key meetings including QBRs and annual planning sessions
  • Providing direct line management to at least one Account Executive in the team, hosting quality weekly 121s and delivering impactful development plans


Skills Required

  • An ambitious and driven go-getter, with a nose for great PR ideas
  • Experience managing team members and workloads, as well as clients
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape and the ability to confidently pitch stories to the media
  • Able to discuss a broad range of topics relating to PR and Social Media
  • A working knowledge of SEO link building best practices is vital
  • Excellent project management skills with strong organisational and planning skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
