Responsibilities
New Business:
- Work with New Business team to create an active pipeline of prospects that are of high quality and contribute towards the commercial team targets.
- Attend networking events of brands and agencies to have a pulse of what is happening in market that we can translate for Jaywing.
- Lead the hunting strategy, by creating our hunting criteria and process and being our drive in insights, strategy, landing page creation and outreach approach, working closely with the BDD, marketing and wider team.
- Work with the BD team to identify and develop untapped opportunities within the existing database.
- Prepare proposals, pitches and RFI responses as part of the team.
- Analyse and report on all your activity, performance and provide insights to the wider team. Understanding where and how we can better target and improve our activity and defining actions to capitalise on our use of CRM to the team and wider business.
- Manage intermediary partners, ensure they are briefed thoroughly on their focus and run monthly check ins to monitor performance
Marketing:
- Using marketing data outreach to prospects via call, text and email (these channels are not limited) with the aim to book coffee chat calls
- Using live data sources and market intelligence identify opportunities for outreach developing campaigns with the support of marketing and new business where required and distribute via Hubspot.
- Work with marketing to plan nurture sequences ensuring your outreach is integrated and maximised for effective conversion.
- Work closely with Marketing team to nurture our database, looking for ways to reengage or bring back to life.
- Offer support and suggestions on how best to manage the CRM data to give you the outputs you need for your activity.
- Be proactive with ideas for new ways to outreach and drive enquires / responses to our efforts.
Experience & Skills Required
- Must have at least 3 years experience in a commercial role in an agency environment
- Must have experience of leading prospect opportunities
- Must have experience of working with Hubspot or a similar CRM tool
- This would be a great role for a client services lead looking to move into more of a commercial role
- Understanding and experience of RFI/RFP and ITT processes preferable
- Experience creating and building proposals working with the channel teams
- Project management
- Commercial acumen
- Ability to lead cross functional teams including senior leaders across strategy, creative, media and data
- Ability to pitch and present confidently
