The Role

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic new Jaywinger who can support our Client Service Team with the delivery of digital campaigns for some of the biggest clients within our agency. Our Account Directors are a real driving force behind the client accounts their teams manage, and this role presents an opportunity to work with some of the biggest brand names in the business. 

As well as having the chance to work on full 360° marketing campaigns, you will be expected to gain the respect and trust of your client and colleagues through your phenomenal interpersonal skills, organisational brilliance, strategic thinking, and leadership. Working closely alongside your Group Account Director, you will develop opportunities to help grow the account by being our internal “performance” expert and their agency lynchpin.

You will be a member of our client teams, managed by the Client Services Director but will report to a Group Account Director on a day-to-day basis. You will also enjoy plenty of support from the whole team, including creatives, developers, strategists, data scientists and media performance specialists.


Key Accountabilities 

  • Willingness to get stuck in - You will be supporting all levels within the team, from managing day-to-day client relationships to handling digital projects and retained accounts.
  • A natural organiser - You’ll be expected to juggle multiple projects as well as handle client and internal demands Plus, you get the chance to manage a team of SAM/AM’s and AE’s, while also coordinating the support of a talented internal team. It’s your duty to ensure the client’s needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Previous experience working within a digital agency (or client-side) - You’ll be used to liaising with developers, creatives, and producers to get the work done effectively on behalf of your clients. You will have a strong understanding and proven experience managing paid and organic media channels This will enable you to have high-level strategic conversations with clients and channel specialists specifically PPC, SEO, CRO, Paid Social, Programmatic & PR.
  • You’ll understand the customer journey - You understand the impacts that can be made by making strategic actions at the right time and through the right channel. On top of that, you’ll have the appetite to grow and develop your cross-channel marketing knowledge.
  • Strong evidence of building relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues - Our Account Directors are critical to the success of our client/agency relationship. We look to strike an amazing balance between client and agency to ensure we provide best in class client service.
  • Numerate and financially aware - You’ll have an attention to detail and be the person responsible for checking your account’s commercials are all in place, dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s.
  • Great management and people skills – Your personality will flex from brainstorming ideas with the internal team, interpreting briefs, and having high-level strategic conversations with clients as well as managing a team of 2/3. Teamwork will be key to delivering the best results for our clients.
  • Confident in presenting – From training your team or delivering a presentation directly to your clients and team on trends, competitors, or results, you’ll have some PowerPoint wizardry and presentation experience under your belt.
  • A head for data – Whether it’s evaluating a spike in a client’s results or understanding the reasons behind a lack of interactions, your naturally inquisitive nature will be spotting potential opportunities to put our data science experts to work.
  • Not afraid to speak up - You will be used to brainstorming fresh, engaging ideas among internal teams and challenging the client, and third-party stakeholders, intelligently against their own ideas and requests.
  • Ability to handle client feedback - Both praise and critique, then effectively manage actions and provide feedback to the internal team while managing the client’s expectations on deliverables throughout a project’s process.
  • An interest in the bigger picture - Working alongside a number of internal stakeholders to understand the client’s business and strategically help them shape and grow their digital approach.

The role can be remote, flexible or based in one of our offices and we are flexible as to which you’d prefer. With an HQ in the centre of Sheffield and a stunning office 15 mins walk from the centre of Leeds, we’re happy for you to select the office that’s best for you.
