The Role

Senior PR Execs are at the heart of our campaigns at Jaywing – developing and driving forward exciting, innovative strategies that deliver incredible results for our clients across a spectrum of interesting and dynamic fields.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with our Head of Strategy, PR Lead & Media Relations Manager to understand your client’s media environment and what needs to be done to achieve success
  • Plan out and budget for what needs to happen to achieve maximum impact
  • Work across each area of PR, from traditional PR through to link building, amplifying creative campaigns to deliver the best results
  • Demonstrate the amazing results you’ve achieved by analysing performance and presenting back to clients
  • Show your work off to the wider Jaywing family

 

Skills Required

  • A go-getter with a proven record of achieving targets and meeting deadlines
  • Someone proactive, who adds value to their accounts and team every day
  • An initiative taker who can support their line manager in the day to day running of accounts
  • Someone who is comfortable talking to and pitching stories to journalists
  • A regular media fanatic, who engages with the press and gets excited by PR & content
  • Experience in creating and researching traditional PR and / or link building campaigns, from ideation through to outreach
  • An understanding of how to build media lists, maintain relationships with journalists and sell in stories
  • A creative flair for writing with a passion for content that engages, entertains and educates
  • A proven people person, capable of inspiring and managing clients, as well as maintaining detailed coverage records
  • Experience in managing your own time and ability to support more junior members of the team with their workload and time management
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to read the news and share stories with the team
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with teammates and other departments such as Client Services and Organic Search
  • An eye for data would be preferred, with the ability to pick out key data stories and turn these into compelling stories for press
  • Ideally an understanding of the link between Organic Search and PR/link-building activity
