PR Outreach Executive

As a PR Outreach Executive, you’ll support teams across the entire PR department to build media lists, craft press releases and fine-tune outreach emails in several sectors including travel, hospitality, tech and more.

Key Accountabilities 

• Working into the Media Relations and Outreach Lead, as part of a dedicated team of promotion specialists, you’ll be the first point of contact for journalists, and directly responsible for selling in stories across our clients
• Actively monitoring the media on a daily / hourly basis, spotting trends, pitching reactive opportunities to PR Account Managers and securing quick win coverage
• Using tools such as ResponseSource and Buzzsumo to stay one step ahead of the media agenda, and make sure we’re distributing timely, relevant content to journalists
• Continually monitoring for coverage, and keeping detailed records and helping Account Managers translate these into client reports on a weekly and monthly basis
• Helping shape creative ideas, press releases and outreach emails to drive pick-up and ensure press appeal
• Developing and maintaining accurate, up to date media lists utilising tools including Roxhill
• Attending idea generation sessions across a range of client sectors and verticals
