Jaywing and QA shortlisted at UK Search Awards following 266% growth in organic visibility

Charlotte Hutchings / Senior Brand Marketing Manager

Jaywing and QA have been shortlisted for Best Use of Search – B2B SEO (Large) at the UK Search Awards 2026, recognising a search strategy that transformed QA's organic performance and delivered measurable business growth.

The nomination recognises Jaywing's work with technology training provider QA, which has delivered a 266% increase in organic visibility, doubled the number of keywords ranking in Google's top ten and driven a 14% increase in sales generated through organic search.

What began as a project to recover traffic and rankings following a major website migration developed into a wider SEO and digital PR strategy, strengthening QA's position in a competitive market.

From recovery to growth

Following a major website migration in 2022, QA experienced significant disruption to its organic visibility. Jaywing was appointed to reverse the decline, stabilise rankings and restore performance.

Once visibility had returned to pre-migration levels, the focus shifted to growth. This meant bringing multiple legacy domains together under qa.com, attracting more high-intent non-brand traffic and preparing QA for the changing search landscape, including AI-powered search.

Jaywing strengthened the site's technical foundations, consolidated its domains and developed topical authority across QA's key subject areas. An always-on digital PR strategy supported this work, using topics such as the AI skills gap and workplace 'AI anxiety' to secure coverage in HR, technology and business publications. This helped build high-quality links to priority pages while strengthening QA's reputation as a voice on workforce transformation.

The results

Between 2022 and 2025, the strategy delivered:

  • 266% increase in overall organic visibility
  • 2x growth in top-ten keyword rankings
  • 14% increase in sales generated through organic search
  • 12 pieces of coverage and an estimated 460,000 views from digital PR in its first two months.

Craig Hayward, Director of Digital and Audience Activation at QA, said:

“We’ve built a genuine partnership with their team defined by proactivity and a focus on driving real business outcomes for QA.”

A huge thank you to the team at QA for their partnership, and to everyone at Jaywing who has contributed to this work. We're delighted to see these results recognised at the UK Search Awards 2026.
