Approaching from Junction 39 of M1
- Drive into Wakefield along Denby Dale Road, second exit at first roundabout (next to Red Kite), second exit at second roundabout (next to Pugney's park), straight over traffic lights past industrial/leisure estate under railway bridge and straight over mini roundabout. Get into right hand lane and take second exit at roundabout (near B&Q). Sainsbury's is on your right.
- At the next roundabout take the second exit and follow the road past the Royal Mail building on the left and Gala Bingo on the right, bear right and go straight over a set of traffic lights. The Ridings centre is on the left. Just after the pelican crossing, take a right down Thornhill Street (Wolski's on the corner). Follow this to the end and bear left (almost like a left turn). Follow the road until you reach a no entry sign and Jaywing is on your right.
- Alternatively you can go right at the Sainsbury's roundabout, pass the front of Sainsbury's and Homebase, go through a set of traffic lights and just before the next set of traffic lights, opposite B&M take a left up Grove Street. Turn right at the end and Jaywing is on your right just before the no entry sign.
Approaching from Junction A61 south
- Drive up A61 heading towards city centre. When you get to the traffic lights at Halfords, go through them and take your next left turn before Magnet. Jaywing is on your left.
Approaching from Junction 41 of M1
- Follow the dual carriageway towards Wakefield. Take the second exit at the first roundabout and first exit at the second roundabout (both at business parks). At the third roundabout turn right (3rd exit) in your left hand lane and remain in this lane as you leave the roundabout. Follow the road through the traffic lights (you should be going through the left hand set of lights and turning to the left).
- Follow this road until you get to a traffic light controlled roundabout. Take the left hand lane at this roundabout and first exit onto a dual carriageway.
- Take the second exit at the next roundabout (next to the bus station). Get into the right hand lane for the next roundabout and take the third exit (near Wilkinsons). Get into the left hand lane and take the left at the traffic lights. The Ridings Centre and Morrisons is on your right. Take the first proper left (Wolski's is on the corner) before the pelican crossing into Thornhill Street. Follow this to the end and bear left (almost like a left turn). Follow the road until you reach a no entry sign and Jaywing is on your right.
Arriving at Wakefield Westgate station
- Grab a cab at the station and ask for Grove Street/Grove Road.
Arriving at Wakefield Kirkgate station
- Turn left out of the front of the station and head for the main road. When you reach the main road, turn right and cross over opposite Box 2. Turn right again and then immediately left, before Magnet. Jaywing is on your left.
